The rest of the envelope

New gutters, fascia, and soffit that actually outlast the roof

Seamless 6-inch aluminum gutters, rot-proof fascia wrap, and ventilated soffit panels. Installed tight, pitched correctly, and sealed so you are not back in two years.

Scope, access, and site conditions are reviewed before work is scheduled.

Most gutter failures are not the gutter — they are the fascia behind it. We replace both at once so water actually goes where it is supposed to, and the back of your house stops rotting.

Our standard install is seamless 6-inch aluminum in your color choice, hidden hangers every 24 inches (not spike-and-ferrule), and oversized 3x4 downspouts. We pitch to real drainage, not to look level from the street.

Fascia gets aluminum-wrapped over new treated lumber if rot is present. Soffit gets perforated panels so the attic actually breathes. This is the stuff that makes your roof warranty valid.

Before you begin

Your questions, answered.

Do I need to replace gutters when I replace the roof?

Not always, but it is the cheapest time to do it. Gutters have to come down for a proper roof job anyway. Reinstalling old gutters is $300 to $500 of labor that applies to new ones.

Why 6-inch instead of standard 5-inch?

6-inch carries about 40% more water and clogs less. For any home with significant roof area or lots of trees, 5-inch is undersized. We install 6-inch as standard.

Do gutter guards really work?

Cheap ones do not. Foam inserts and plastic screens fill up with shingle grit and pine needles. Micromesh stainless works, costs more, and actually keeps gutters flowing.

What about ice dams?

Gutters do not cause ice dams — poor attic insulation and ventilation do. We will tell you if that is the real issue before you spend money on heated cables.

How long does it take?

Gutters alone, half a day. Full envelope (gutters + fascia + soffit), 1 to 2 days.
